Really interesting in how you were able to distort these faces yet make them so believable. It is neat to see you working with line so intentionally in these-- particularly the last drawing. Those lines around the eyes really pull me into the eyes and face. The way you rendered them is incredibly tactile-- I feel like I know how those lines feel. It could be a good exercise to allow yourself to explore further drawings in a similar way (maybe that means cropping so that you can really focus on minute details of what you are seeing).
I think it’s great how you were able to capture different emotions and facial expressions across each drawing. You did well filling the frame and using a range of gray values to depict the faces. It appears that you used an eraser to make some of the highlighted areas and that’s a really nice touch!
