  1. Hey! - I really like your use of color in this piece, especially the way you rendered the skin and made the shadows distinct from one another Even with the values being more separated, it’s interesting to see the mark making that produces different densities within each color. Each figure’s faces captures a unique emotion that I see further represented in their body language and the contrasting shapes they sit / stand on!

  2. Hey Meggie, super interesting drawing! Great to see you working with color and markers (I think markers). The way that you rendered each of the figures breaks them up/ segments them in a really compelling way-- makes me wonder if the are human or robots-- the fragmentation of them does this. Also-- great to see how you thought through composition and positioning of the figures. This is accomplished through both a literal difference of planes (the lime green and blue surfaces) as well as through the difference in body language between the two (one hunched over and one up and open). Awesome work! Keep pushing those colors Meggie

  3. Meggie, your use of color here is really cool! The colors around them in the space below their feet, as well as the more blocky way of using value is super interesting. It develops the figures really well and connects them, but they also both have separate and distinct places in the narrative
