These are so cool to look at! I get kind of a thermal kind of vibe from them, which is really interesting. These are very clean looking and I love how the figures fill up the page very effectively.
Both of these drawings are incredible!! I really love the continuity of the line and the positioning of both figures, they both convey a lot of emotion really well.
Meggie, these are super cool! I love the minimalist approach to a portrait and the creative lines you used. It reminds me of a thermal energy drawing without color. I also think you captured the facial expressions really well and the proportions seem spot on. Nice work!
Hey Meggie, nice drawings so far. I am curious about where they are coming from. It seems like the first one is you, but I am not sure about the second one. Remember where you source your images from can play a huge role in informing their narrative. Further, as this is a series remember you are going to want the images to support each other-- not be too distant from one another.
Really interesting strategy for rendering what you are seeing and laying the groundwork for mark making and color to be added. Awesome to see you spending time working with contour line. Excited to see the rest!
